In true kiwi tradition Bakeworks started with that 'can do' attitude, loads of awesome ideas and not much of anything else (typical jumping the gun). Way back then (2001) our customers were crying out for more allergy friendly food they could actually eat. While our early gluten free loaves were less successful, we stuck at it until we nailed the best around. Over a decade on and you can find our gluten free range in all corners of NZ.
But like all die-hards, it doesn't end there.. Today Bakeworks still has that same 'never say never' attitude backed by an energetic team of people with a passion for baking. We are still handcrafting the very best we can and are continually developing new products to excite our customers.
